There's no place like home for Lake Creek, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. Everything went their way against the Brenham Cubs on Tuesday as the Lake Creek Lions made off with a 55-30 win. The Lions have beaten the Cubs the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Cubs has come to flipping the script.

Brenham lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Antyianna Lang, who posted six points and 11 boards. Lang has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last four times she's played. Janiyah Mathis was another key player, putting up eight points in addition to six boards and four steals.

Lake Creek's victory bumped their record up to 11-17. As for Brenham, they dropped their record down to 11-21 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road.

As of now, neither Lake Creek nor Brenham have any future games scheduled.
