Softball Recap: Donelson Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Donelson Christian Academy has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.2 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Thursday. They came up short against the Davidson Academy Bears, falling 15-3. That makes it the first time this season the Wildcats have let down their home crowd.

The loss was their first at home , dropping their record down to 21-4. As for Davidson Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Donelson Christian Academy will square off against rival Ezell-Harding Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Davidson Academy is set to take on their familiar foe Clarksville Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
