There's no place like home for Platte Canyon, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They really took it to the Sheridan Rams for the full four quarters, racking up a 78-50 win. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 47-23.

Sheridan's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Bobby Garcia, who posted 25 points. That was a full 50% of Sheridan's points, marking the third time in a row he's scored more than a third of the team's points. Gabriel Hernandez was another key player, putting up seven points in addition to ten rebounds and three steals.

Platte Canyon's victory bumped their record up to 7-8. As for Sheridan, they dropped their record down to 3-13 with the loss, which was their 18th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Platte Canyon wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 93-44 defeat against Bennett on the 6th. As for Sheridan, they have also already played their next match, a 50-34 loss against Lake County on the 6th.
