Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Barstow). They were the clear victors by a 25-10 margin over the Maranatha Christian Academy Eagles on Monday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Knights considering their two-run performance the contest before.

The win made it two in a row for Barstow and bumps their season record up to 2-8. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.5 runs over those games. As for Maranatha Christian Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Looking ahead, Barstow is taking a road trip to face off against Pembroke Hill at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Knights' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Raiders have averaged an impressive 8.5 runs per game this season. As for Maranatha Christian Academy, they will be playing at home against Christ Prep Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
