Soccer Recap: Wade Hampton Comes Up Short

Wade Hampton's game on Monday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of the Eastside Eagles by a score of 1-0. The shutout was out of character for Wade Hampton seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in March.

This is the second loss in a row for Wade Hampton and nudges their season record down to 9-6. As for Eastside, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Wade Hampton will take on rival Dorman at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Eastside is set to square off against their familiar foe James F. Byrnes at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
