Football Game Preview: Redding Christian Lions vs. Woodbridge Warriors + How To Watch

The Redding Christian Lions will venture away from home to challenge the Woodbridge Warriors at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Redding Christian sitting on 14 straight victories and Woodbridge on five.

Redding Christian is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They snuck past Middletown with a 22-18 win. Those 22 points were actually the fewest the Lions have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

Levi Putnam had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 171 yards and a pair of touchdowns. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in October.

Redding Christian didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Micah Skinner and Garrett Webb.

Meanwhile, Woodbridge got themselves on the board against San Fernando on Friday, but San Fernando never followed suit. They came out on top against the Tigers by a score of 13-0.

Redding Christian better keep an eye on Kayjahn Pitts. He was instrumental in Woodbridge's win, rushing for 121 yards and one score. They are 4-1 when Pitts posts 80 or more rushing yards, but 3-7 otherwise.

Redding Christian's record now sits at 14-0. As for Woodbridge, their record is now 7-8.
