Soccer Recap: Highland Springs Comes Up Short

After some red-hot attacks on offense in their last three matches, Highland Springs finally came back down to earth on Monday. They came up short against the J.R. Tucker Tigers, falling 6-0. The loss continues a trend for Highland Springs in their meetings with J.R. Tucker: they've now lost five in a row.

Highland Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 9-7-1. As for J.R. Tucker, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-2-1 record this season.

Highland Springs does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for J.R. Tucker, they will face off against Hanover at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hanover will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something J.R. Tucker surely won't give up without a fight.
