Breese Central won against Columbia last Tuesday with 62 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. The Breese Central Cougars put the hurt on the Freeburg Midgets with a sharp 62-41 win. The victory was familiar territory for the Cougars, who have now won seven games in a row.

Freeburg's loss came despite strong showings from Brady Kerr and Dathan Krauss. Kerr posted six points and 12 rebounds, while Krauss had nine points. Another player making a difference was Matt Pluff, who scored eight points.

Breese Central pushed their record up to 23-5 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.6 points over those games. As for Freeburg, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-19.
