Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Wicomico). They walked away with a 92-80 victory over the Pocomoke Warriors on Thursday. The Indians pushed the score to 76-52 by the end of the third, a deficit the Warriors cut but never quite recovered from.

Despite the loss, Pocomoke still got an impressive performance from JAMIR ROBERTS, who went 8 for 16 en route to 20 points and seven steals. ROBERTS has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last ten times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of JAYDEN MASON, who posted 11 points in addition to six rebounds and four steals.

Wicomico's win was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-4. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.3 points per game. As for Pocomoke, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-9.

Wicomico wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 76-51 victory against Washington on the 31st. As for Pocomoke, they will take on Bennett at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Pocomoke knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matchups -- so hopefully Bennett likes a good challenge.
