Basketball Recap: Trinity Takes a Loss

Trinity lost against Moundridge back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Trinity Celtics came up short against the Moundridge Wildcats, falling 66-40. While losing is never fun, the Celtics can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 203rd, while the Wildcats are ranked 11th).

Trinity has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season. The win keeps them at an undefeated 19-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Trinity and Inman will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Friday without much rest, having both just played. Trinity is facing Inman at the right time seeing as Inman is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Moundridge, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Remington at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
