Soccer Recap: Arendell Parrott Academy Takes a Loss

Arendell Parrott Academy lost against Cape Fear Academy back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Patriots lost 4-1 to the Hurricanes. While losing is never fun, Arendell Parrott Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 304th, while Cape Fear Academy are ranked 31st).

Arendell Parrott Academy's defeat was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Cape Fear Academy, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Arendell Parrott Academy will head out to challenge Wayne Country Day at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Arendell Parrott Academy will be up against Wayne Country Day's rather soft defense (which has allowed 5.1 goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Cape Fear Academy, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Grace Christian at 5:00 p.m. on the 24th.
