Basketball Recap: South Side Comes Up Short

South Side lost against Our Lady of the Sacred Heart back in January of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The South Side Rams received a blow as they fell 53-38 to the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Chargers. While losing is never fun, the Rams can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 375th, while the Chargers are ranked 171st).

This is the second loss in a row for South Side and nudges their season record down to 7-6. As for Our Lady of the Sacred Heart, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-3.

South Side will challenge Shenango at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Our Lady of the Sacred Heart, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Neshannock at 7:30 p.m.
