Basketball Game Preview: Cypress Centurions vs. Foothill Knights

The Cypress Centurions will face off against the Foothill Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Cypress' favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last 11 contests.

Cypress fought the good fight in their overtime match against Crean Lutheran on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 69-68 to the Saints. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Tuesday (61), the Centurions still had to take the loss.

Meanwhile, Foothill didn't have too much breathing room in their game against La Habra on Tuesday, but they still walked away with a 61-55 win.

Cypress dropped their record down to 14-9 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. That patch can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.0 points per game. As for Foothill, their victory bumped their record up to 14-7.
