Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Charlee Phillips and Katelyn Hill Lead Trinity to Victory + How To Watch

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Trinity had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Providence Grove Patriots, sneaking past 3-2. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Patriots recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Trinity got the one that really mattered. The final score came out to 25-23, 26-28, 25-13, 14-25, 15-12.

Trinity was led to victory by Katelyn Hill and Charlee Phillips. Hill had 12 digs and four aces, while Phillips had ten digs and three aces. That's the most aces Hill has posted over her last six contests.

Trinity now has a winning record of 13-12. As for Providence Grove, this is the second loss in a row for them and also nudges their season record down to 13-12.

Trinity wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against Owen on the 21st. Providence Grove does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
