The Horizon Hawks and the American Heritage Patriots squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but sadly the Horizon Hawks had to settle for second. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 4-1 walloping at the hands of the Patriots. Horizon's defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.
Horizon's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 15-4-1. As for American Heritage, they pushed their record up to 15-3-1 with that victory, which was their sixth straight at home.
Horizon does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for American Heritage, they have the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome North Fort Myers at 4:00 p.m. on March 1st. American Heritage is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
