Northfield and Byron squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Northfield had to settle for second. They came up short against the Byron Bears, falling 67-45. The Raiders' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Northfield's defeat dropped their record down to 13-12. As for Byron, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 15 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-3 record this season.
