Preview: Richton Rebels vs. Collins Tigers
The Richton Rebels will be playing in front of their home fans against the Collins Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Richton focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 34 on Thursday.
Last Thursday, Richton lost to Heidelberg on the road by a decisive 59-42 margin. Richton has not had much luck with Heidelberg recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Despite their defeat, Richton saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Nylah Robins, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds and two blocks, was perhaps the best of all.
Collins can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game last Saturday. They walked away with a 45-35 victory over Jefferson County. The victory was just what Collins needed coming off of a 61-25 defeat in their prior game.
Richton has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost eight of their last ten games, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-16 record this season. As for Collins, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-15.
