Basketball Recap: Dodson Comes Up Short

Dodson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Lustre Christian Lions 60-17. The Coyotes were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-6.

Dodson lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Tissie Webb, who posted seven points. Webb continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played.

Dodson's record is now 0-7. As for Lustre Christian, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dodson won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Frazer at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. Frazer has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 203 points over their last three games. As for Lustre Christian, they and Circle will face off at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played.
