Soccer Game Preview: Globe vs. Apache Junction

The Globe Tigers will face off against the Apache Junction Prospectors at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Globe's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

On Thursday, Globe didn't have quite enough to beat ALA - Mesa North and fell 2-1.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Apache Junction). Everything went their way against San Tan Foothills on Thursday as they made off with a 6-1 win. It was an even better day for Bella Blackstock as she scored four goals for her team.

The victory made it two in a row for Apache Junction and bumps their season record up to 4-9-2. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 11 goals over those two contests. As for Globe, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.
