Baseball Recap: Conifer Victorious

After only one run in their last matchup, Conifer made sure to put some runs up on the board against Littleton on Thursday. The Lobos walked away with an 11-8 win over the Lions. The Lobos haven't had any issues with the Lions recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Luke Adams was incredible, going 2-for-4 with four stolen bases, four RBI, and one run. Those four stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Dillon Tracy was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-4.

Adams wasn't the only one making solid contact: Conifer kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

Conifer's record now sits at 2-8. As for Littleton, they dropped their record down to 1-8 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.

Conifer has already played their next contest, a 10-9 win against Pomona on the 12th. As for Littleton, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 16-3 victory against Wheat Ridge on the 11th.
