Soccer Recap: Central Takes a Loss

Central was the 2-1 winner over McClintock when they last played one another back in February of 2025, but their luck changed this time around. The Bobcats fell just short of the Chargers by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday.

Valentin Gakuru and Jonathan Villatoro Sanchez scored both of Central's goals, bringing their combined season tally to five goals.

Central's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9-1. As for McClintock, the win snapped their losing streak at eight matches and leaves them with a 2-9 record.

Central didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-2 loss against Fairfax on the 5th. As for McClintock, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 5-1 defeat against Metro Tech on the 5th.
