Softball Recap: Chapel Hill Falls to Alexander in First Game of Season

Chapel Hill had to start their season on the road on Wednesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They lost 16-0 to the Alexander Cougars. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

Chapel Hill saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jayda Young, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Coming up, Chapel Hill will head out on the road to take on Temple at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Alexander, they will challenge Kennesaw Mountain at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. This will be the Cougars' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
