Basketball Recap: Makayla Richardson's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Bunn over Northern Nash

Bunn was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 42-32 to the Northern Nash Knights. The Wildcats were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Knights earlier this season, when they won 43-39.

Several Wildcats players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Makayla Richardson, who posted 15 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Ny'Lah Mitchell, who put up eight points and ten boards.

Bunn's defeat dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Northern Nash, the victory snapped their losing streak at eight games and leaves them with a 2-8 record.

While Bunn had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
