Eastern extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Emeri Lloyd. The Eagles were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Meigs Marauders on Friday with plenty of help from Lloyd, who had 16 digs and one assist. Lloyd is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least 16 every time she's taken the court this season.

The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-9, 25-17.

Eastern's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Meigs, their loss was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-1.

Eastern wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Waverly on the 23rd. As for Meigs, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-1 loss against Warren on the 25th.
