Softball Recap: Eagleton College & Career Academy Takes a Loss

If Eagleton College & Career Academy was riding high fresh off their 10-3 takedown of Gatlinburg-Pittman on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Royals lost 8-1 to the Alcoa Tornadoes on Tuesday. The Royals haven't had much luck with the Tornadoes recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Eagleton College & Career Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 18-14-1. As for Alcoa, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 19 of their last 21 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 32-6-1 record this season.

As of now, neither Eagleton College & Career Academy nor Alcoa have any future games scheduled.
