Basketball Recap: Grayville Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Zach Leavens and Jake Hosman

Grayville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They received a blow as they fell 69-51 to the Mt. Carmel Golden Aces. The Bison were not able to make up for their loss to the Golden Aces from their previous meeting back in February of 2024.

Grayville's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Jake Hosman, who posted 21 points and eight rebounds, and Zach Leavens, who scored 16 points. The contest was Leavens' ninth in a row with at least 16 points.

Grayville's loss dropped their record down to 12-18. As for Mt. Carmel, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-21.
