Volleyball Recap: Iowa-Grant Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Presley Lehman and Quinn Hoeper

Iowa-Grant was the 2-0 winner over Darlington when they last played one another last Saturday, but their luck changed this time around. The Panthers took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Redbirds on Tuesday.

While Iowa-Grant ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 19 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 21-25, 25-22, 25-19.

Despite the loss, Iowa-Grant had strong showings from Quinn Hoeper, who had 12 digs, and Presley Lehman, who had 13 digs and five kills.

Iowa-Grant's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-19. As for Darlington, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-11.

Looking ahead, Iowa-Grant will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Boscobel at 7:00 p.m. As for Darlington, they will head out on the road to challenge River Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
