There's no place like home for Delaware Christian, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They blew past the Shekinah Christian Flames 56-36 on Monday. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 20 points or more this season.

Addy Beard continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, putting up 20 points along with eight rebounds and six steals. She has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last nine times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Brooke Huffman, who posted 15 points.

Shekinah Christian lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Noelia Wanty, who scored six points. Another player making a difference was Abigail DeTelder, who put up nine points.

Delaware Christian has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 25.8 points per game. As for Shekinah Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 7-5.

Delaware Christian will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Grove City Christian at 6:30 p.m. on January 23rd. As for Shekinah Christian, they will square off against Calvary Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Shekinah Christian is facing Calvary Christian at the right time seeing as Calvary Christian is stuck on a nine-game losing streak.
