If Chickasha was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Midwest City last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Fighting Chicks lost 3-0 to the Altus Bulldogs on Monday. The Fighting Chicks' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

The final score came out to 25-10, 25-6, 25-9.

KK Willard paced Chickasha's offense, picking up four kills. Willard got some help from Zoee Jones and her eight assists. Finally, Liberty Proulx kept Chickasha's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

Chickasha's loss dropped their record down to 15-14. As for Altus, they pushed their record up to 29-2 with the victory, which was their 17th straight at home.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Chickasha will face off against Wagoner at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Altus, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Elgin at 6:00 p.m.
