Greater Lowell Tech came up into this matchup off a tough 22-point defeat on Saturday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of Shawsheen Valley Tech by a score of 58-56 on Tuesday. The Gryphons have struggled against the Rams recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Lowell Catholic posted their biggest victory since December 17, 2024 on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Lynn Vo-Tech with a sharp 67-47 win.

Lowell Catholic now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Greater Lowell Tech, their loss dropped their record down to 6-5.
