After low-scoring totals in their previous four game, Mt. Markham brought some dynamite into their most recent contest. They were the clear victors by a 42-20 margin over the Beaver River Beavers on Friday. The Mustangs not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since October 4, 2024 (when they won 61-16).

Mt. Markham's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Beaver River, they dropped their record down to 2-4 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Mt. Markham is set to face off against their familiar foe Dolgeville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Beaver River will square off against rival Cato-Meridian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
