Basketball Recap: Hilliard Starts Season with Victory Against Glynn Academy

Hilliard had to kick off their season on the road on Saturday, but they showed no ill effects. They came out on top against the Glynn Academy Terrors by a score of 57-46.

Glynn Academy's loss came despite strong showings from Alyssa Martin and Aja Tillman. Martin dropped a double-double with 13 points and ten rebounds, while Tillman posted nine points and five steals. Another player making a difference was Faith Jernigan, who earned four points.

Looking ahead, Hilliard will square off against Tocoi Creek at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Glynn Academy, they will face off against Richmond Hill at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
