Preview: Phillips Wildcats vs. Lake Forest Academy Caxys        
        
		
            
 The Phillips Wildcats will head out on the road to  challenge  the Lake Forest Academy Caxys at 2:30  p.m.  on Saturday. Phillips has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 607 points over their last eight contests.
 Even though Brooks scored an imposing 59 points on Thursday, Phillips still came out on top. Phillips took down Brooks 73-59. Given Phillips' advantage  in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings  (they are ranked 92nd, while Brooks is ranked 500th), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.
 Phillips' success was spearheaded by the efforts of   Lawrence Horton, who  scored 16 points along with seven  rebounds and four  steals, and   Amari Edwards, who  scored 26 points along with four  steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points  Edwards has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of  Jeremiah Benjamin, who  scored ten points along with two  steals.
 Meanwhile, Lake Forest Academy's recent rough patch got a bit rougher  on Wednesday after their fifth straight loss. They took a  64-53 hit to the loss column at the hands of Northridge. Lake Forest Academy has struggled against Northridge recently, as their  matchup on Wednesday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
 Phillips has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won six of their last seven games,  which provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record this season. As for Lake Forest Academy, their loss was  their fourth straight on the road, which  dropped their record down to 5-14.
