Classical Academy took a three-set loss the last time they faced off against San Pasqual, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Caimans narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Golden Eagles 3-2. The victory was nothing new for the Caimans as they're now sitting on six straight.

Classical Academy took San Pasqual into a fifth set where they got it done with a ten-point win. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-16, 23-25, 23-25, 15-5.

Leading Classical Academy to victory were Serenity Munster and Emma Akesson. Munster had 11 digs, while Akesson had 14 digs, 11 kills, and three aces. Those 11 digs gave Munster a new career-high.

Classical Academy's win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for San Pasqual, their defeat ended an eight-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 2-2.

Classical Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Del Lago Academy on the 9th. As for San Pasqual, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-2 win against Escondido on the 9th.
