Basketball Game Preview: Liberty Tree Academy War Eagles vs. Calhan Bulldogs

The Liberty Tree Academy War Eagles will venture away from home to face off against the Calhan Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Liberty Tree Academy is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They put the hurt on Poudre Community Academy with a sharp 75-53 win on Friday. The War Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Calhan had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 23.3 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Trojans as they made off with a 53-32 victory.

The win made it two in a row for Liberty Tree Academy and bumps their season record up to 7-9. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 25.5 points. As for Calhan, their victory bumped their record up to 7-9.
