Football Recap: Camelback Falls to Mcclintock in First Game of Season + How To Watch

Camelback had to start their season on the road on Thursday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They took a 36-19 bruising from the McClintock Chargers. The Spartans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Chargers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2022.

Christian Lee and Angel Neria certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Lee rushed for 138 yards and a pair of TDs, while Neria rushed for 112 yards on only 12 carries.

Fredrick 'CP' Parsons went supernova For McClintock., rushing for 158 yards and one touchdown while picking up 9.9 yards per carry, and also picking up 37 receiving yards and a pair of scores. Jesus 'Juice' Otero did his part for the team as well, scoring a TD off of 69 receiving yards.

Coming up, Camelback will challenge Arcadia at 7:00 p.m. on the 5th. As for McClintock, they will face off against Gilbert at 7:00 p.m. on the 5th.
