Basketball Recap: Tempe Prep Comes Up Short

Tempe Prep won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Tuesday. They were dealt a 57-20 defeat at the hands of the Horizon Honors Eagles. If the Knights were looking for revenge after losing 54-22 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

It was another big night for Audriana Anglada, who went 8 of 15 en route to 19 points and three steals for Horizon Honors. The team also got some help courtesy of Alicia Londono, who posted five points along with six assists and four steals.

Tempe Prep's loss dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Horizon Honors, their win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 14-10.

Tempe Prep has already played their next matchup (against Santa Cruz Valley), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Horizon Honors wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 48-29 defeat against Phoenix Country Day on the 30th.
