Basketball Recap: Lawrence Comes Up Short

Lawrence and Burlington Township squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Lawrence had to settle for second. The matchup between the Lawrence Cardinals and the Burlington Township Falcons didn't end well, with the Lawrence Cardinals falling 67-49.

Leading Burlington Township to victory were Quayd Hendryx and Andrew Larbie. Hendryx shot 47% from the field en route to 22 points in addition to eight assists and five rebounds, while Larbie went 7-for-11 on his way to 17 points. Another player making a difference was Isiah N'Diaye, who posted eight points and five boards.

Lawrence's defeat dropped their record down to 19-7. As for Burlington Township, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 26-3.

As of now, neither Lawrence nor Burlington Township have any future games scheduled.
