 In what's become a running theme this season, St. Pius X gave their fans yet another huge  victory on Friday. They blew past the Highland Hornets 18-3. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for St. Pius X.
  Chase Craver looked comfortable as he  pitched  an inning while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits.
 On the hitting side,  Jax Mulville was a standout: he got on base  in four of his five plate appearances with a  home run, four  RBI,  and two  runs.  Kaiden Swanson was another key contributor,  going 2-for-2 with a  home run, two  runs,  and two  RBI.
 On Highland's side, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Jose Tapia, who  went 1-for-3 with three  RBI and a  double. Another player making a difference was  Miguel Leyba, who  scored a  run while  getting on base  in all three of his plate appearances.
 St. Pius X has  been performing  well recently as they've  won five of their last six matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 15-8 record  this season. As for Highland, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost 14 of their last 15 contests,  which put a noticeable dent in their 2-20 record  this season.
