Basketball Recap: Carlisle Comes Up Short

Carlisle was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 55-54 heartbreaker at the hands of the Carroll Tigers. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 61-55 back in December of 2024.

Carlisle's loss dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Carroll, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-7.

Carlisle will be playing in front of their home fans against Bondurant-Farrar at 7:30 p.m. on January 24th. As for Carroll, they will head out on the road to face off against A-D-M at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. A-D-M will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Carroll surely won't give up without a fight.
