Volleyball Recap: Episcopal of Acadiana Comes Up Short

After flying high against St. Edmund last Thursday, Episcopal of Acadiana came back down to earth. The Falcons lost 3-0 to the Notre Dame Pioneers on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for the Falcons in their meetings with the Pioneers: they've now lost eight in a row.

Episcopal of Acadiana's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Notre Dame, the win snapped their losing streak at four matches and leaves them with a 6-7 record.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Episcopal of Acadiana and St. Martinville will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 5:00 p.m. on the 8th. As for Notre Dame, they will challenge DeQuincy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. This will be the Pioneers' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
