Soccer Game Preview: Fort Bend Marshall vs. Alief Taylor

The Fort Bend Marshall Buffalos will start their season against the Alief Taylor Lions. Kickoff is scheduled at 12:00 p.m. on Monday.

Alief Taylor's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed last Thursday. It was close, but they ultimately received the gift of a 1-0 victory from a begrudging Alief Taylor squad. That's two games straight that they have won by just one goal.

The win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.

As for Fort Bend Marshall, they've got a clean slate this season. Last year, they finished 0-16.

Fort Bend Marshall suffered a grim 10-0 defeat to Alief Taylor when the teams last played back in December of 2023. Can Fort Bend Marshall avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
