There's no place like home for Forestview, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 26-7 win over the East Gaston Warriors on Friday. That's more bragging rights for the Jaguars, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Forestview was led to victory by Cooper Phillips and Marcus Rhodes. Phillips threw for 127 yards and two TDs, while Rhodes rushed for 41 yards. Those 41 rushing yards gave Rhodes a new career-high.

The victory got Forestview back to even at 1-1. As for East Gaston, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Forestview will take on Smoky Mountain at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for East Gaston, they will face off against Burns at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The match will give the Warriors their first taste of in-conference action this season.
