Basketball Recap: Greenwood Takes a Loss

After flying high against Sweetwater last Tuesday, Greenwood came back down to earth. The Greenwood Rangers fell to the Liberty Patriots 43-37.

Greenwood's defeat dropped their record down to 13-7. As for Liberty, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 8-8.

Greenwood and Liberty should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. Greenwood (ranked 228th) will meet Lake View (ranked 1256th) at 1:00 p.m. on December 30th. Meanwhile, Liberty will face off against Snyder at 6:15 p.m. on January 3, 2025 up 462 places (307 vs. 769).
