Softball Game Preview: Washington Jaguars vs. Parkside Rams

Washington hasn't had much luck against Parkside recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Jaguars will be playing in front of their home fans against the Rams at 4:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Monday just wasn't the day for Washington's offense. They came up short against Wicomico on Monday, falling 13-0.

Mardela hit Parkside with a four-run first inning on Monday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Rams lost 13-3 to the Warriors. The Rams haven't had much luck with the Warriors recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Brecklyn Bounds made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Washington's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Parkside, their loss dropped their record down to 5-7-1.
