Volleyball Recap: Newman Smith Comes Up Short

Newman Smith's tournament run continued when they took on Huntsville on Thursday. The Trojans took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hornets. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Huntsville was led to victory by Sydney Paschal and Lauren Rigsby. Paschal had five digs and four aces, while Rigsby had nine digs.

Newman Smith now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Huntsville, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.
