Softball Recap: Crescent Takes a Loss

Crescent dropped their record down to 16-7 on Friday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins. They fell just short of the West-Oak Warriors by a score of 13-11. Surprisingly, this marked the Tigers' third straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

As for West-Oak, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-4. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for they, who until this matchup were averaging 3.69 runs allowed.

For West-Oak's part, Cassie Stoltzfus was incredible, going 4-for-5 with three doubles, three RBI, and two runs. Those four hits gave Stoltzfus a new career-high. Abigail Satterfield also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

As of now, neither Crescent nor West-Oak have any future games scheduled.
