Soccer Game Preview: Archbishop Williams vs. St. Mary's

The Archbishop Williams Bishops are taking a road trip to square off against the St. Mary's Spartans at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.

Archbishop Williams is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Bishop Stang just ended the team's four-match winning streak on Wednesday. Neither they nor the Spartans could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw. The result kept Archbishop Williams happy, as they haven't lost a game since October 10th.

St. Mary's had taken Bishop Fenwick down for three straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Monday. The Spartans fell just short of the Crusaders by a score of 3-2. The matchup was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but St. Mary's couldn't quite close it out.

Archbishop Williams' draw gives them a new season record of 7-5-5. As for St. Mary's, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-5-2.
