Soccer Recap: St. Joseph Catholic Comes Up Short

St. Joseph Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 8-0 to the Jackson Academy Raiders. That's two games in a row now that the Bruins have lost by exactly eight goals.

St. Joseph Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Jackson Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Joseph Catholic will welcome Presbyterian Christian at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Jackson Academy, they will host Madison-Ridgeland Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
