Soccer Recap: Wilson Takes a Loss

If Wilson was riding high fresh off their 4-1 takedown of Lakewood two weeks ago, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Tigers came up short against the South Florence Bruins on Thursday, falling 4-0. Wilson were red-hot offensively heading into the contest (they scored no less than four goals in the three matchups prior), but South Florence's defense proved too tough.

With the loss, Wilson broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 5-5. As for South Florence, the victory (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 10-1.

Wilson wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 3-1 win against Crestwood on the 22nd. As for South Florence, they have also already played their next matchup, a 9-0 victory against Lower Richland on the 29th.
